For Visitors

Due to COVID-19, our patient visitor policies are changing. Please visit: COVID-19: Enhanced Visitor Policy

If you believe you have symptoms of COVID-19, take these steps.

Visiting Hours

6 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily

Volunteers at the Visitor’s Help Desk in the main entrance are available to answer your questions and give directions.

One visitor is allowed to stay overnight in a private room if the patient agrees. Waiting areas and consultation rooms are not intended as overnight accommodations. After hours visitors (9 p.m. – 6 a.m.) who are not authorized to stay in a patient’s room or who are not wearing a visitor’s badge must remain in the First Floor Bates Lobby or Emergency Department waiting room.

Locating a Patient’s Room

Volunteers at Information Desks are available to help you with directions in locating a patient’s room.

All elevators are color coded: green, orange, purple, red, and yellow. Patient rooms are identified by the color of the closest elevator. For example, Y1734 is near the Yellow Elevators on the 17th Floor, Room number 34.

Staff and volunteers will direct you to specialty units, such as Cardiac Surgery Recovery or Intensive Care Unit.
