Meet Our Nurse Practitioner
Vanessa Hargett, RN, FNP-C, graduated with her bachelor’s in nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2008. She began her nursing career as an intensive care unit charge nurse and went on to pursue her master’s degree, graduating with honors from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in 2014. Her degree as a family nurse practitioner allows Vanessa the ability to manage the continuum of care for patients with heartburn and acid reflux. She has cared for patients with every stage of GERD. Her current role allows her to guide patients through treatment options, assisting with testing and surgeries as needed.
